Seventh Avenue - Terium, Massacre Records
| Terium is the sixth full-length album from Seventh Avenue. Fans will know
what to expect, uptempo German power metal with lots of double bass. Listen to this album,
you automatically wonder when drummer gets rsi in his ankles! Terium is a nice blend of
power and melody. Often the songs are uptempo and contain choruses you can sing along to
very easily. Compared to previous albums, Terium will not change the world, but that must
be reassuring to the fans. A few of the songs stick out like the furious Priests &
Servants and New Era. Two Masters has a nice intro with a string arrangements. The album
has an intro track plus fourteen songs and they fill over seventy minutes. Terium is also
a concept album with a fantasy story as a thread going through the songs. Anyway, this is
a new and interesting album from Seventh Avenue - not very innovative, but good
nonetheless. |
